The campus is very nice, but their advisors are terrible. The advisors barely know what they’re talking about especially if you’re trying transfer out. I think their goal is to keep you there as long as possible to waste your time and money. Make sure you do your own research before meeting with an advisor because they’re all clueless and not helpful.
As of now, I have had, overall, a very good experience with this school. I have found them to be extremely helpful, and always providing fun things to do. As far as a Community College goes, this one really does a nice job, indoors and out. The only thing I would have to say I dislike, again, as of now, would be that their cafeteria prices are a tad on the expensive side. 4 out of 5 for me.
The college is expanding and I think that's wonderful especially when I'm enrolled now!! Great college!
I'm currently a visiting student here (I go to a four year university, just taking some extra summer courses) and I can honestly say I hate this place solely for its staff. The professors are wonderful, but the people who work in the business department, the admissions department, and financial aid are some of the rudest people I have ever had to speak to. I will call the school to ask a simple question, and they either don't know the answers, don't know the department that does know the answers, or tell me to "make an appointment with my advisor to figure it out" (I should mention meeting with an advisor is almost impossible). They also always manage to seem annoyed when I call. No one there seems to know what they're doing, and everyone is rude. Take your money and take courses somewhere else. At least somewhere where people can help you.
I went here for my associates, and it's really growing dramatically and all for the better. They really try to have an extensive array of opportunities, and they're much better with advertising this with the university center. Would absolutely recommend, to any age, coming out of high school or someone looking to change their career, this is a wonderful starting point.
